Our Activities
→ We will operate our factories and facilities in accordance with laws, regulations and standards.
→ By applying the best technologies and operating procedures, we will minimize the exposure of our employees and stakeholders to environmental, health and safety risks.
→ We will increase the use of alternative raw materials and fuels in order to minimize the use of natural resources that cannot be renewed.
→ By minimizing the formation of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes in our factories and facilities, we will dispose of wastes with safe methods and provide recycling and reuse opportunities.
→ We will identify risks for environmental emergencies and reduce them.
→ We will continuously improve the environmental management system and measure our performance.
→ In all our quarry sites, we will ensure the protection of biodiversity by preparing rehabilitation plans and encouraging the development of natural life.
→ We will prepare action plans to achieve our goals, continuously improve our performance and follow up.
Investment Projects
→ We will make an environmental impact assessment before the implementation phase of large investment projects.
→ We will carry out investment projects in accordance with relevant laws, standards and regulations.
Education
→ We will ensure that our environmental performance is continuously improved and our employees are informed by giving them the necessary trainings in order to take an active role in environmental protection.
Subcontractors and Suppliers
→ We will demand our subcontractors and suppliers to respect our environmental values with occupational health and safety, and provide awareness training. We will require our company to comply with our policies and procedures while working at our factories and facilities.
Product Management
→ In order to minimize the effects on human health and the environment and to limit the amount of possible waste, we will act in line with the sustainable development approach in product development, production, distribution and application stages.
Stakeholder Dialogue
→ We will regularly inform our stakeholders about the possible environmental impacts of our activities and products, evaluate their requests and be in constant communication.
→ We will be in an effective cooperation by having an open dialogue and exchange of information with the authorities in order to evaluate the applicability, impact and cost / return balance of laws, regulations and standards.
